Fledge Social Enterprise Accelerator | March 2019. Tim Crosby presented on Fledge’s work with East Africa Fruits in Tanzania to raise funds for irrigation, helping EAF increase the number of farmers and their income. EAF’s model is being replicated in Uganda and Rwanda. The model has released additional capital. The conversation included application of the Global Alliance principles.

Every Table and Michigan Good Food Fund | March 2019. WK Kellogg Foundation made PRI investments in Every Table in south LA and the Michigan Good Food Fund, which were created through collaboration between the corpus investing group, MRI/PRI team, and program teams. The investments involved catalytic grants and loan investments.

Agricultural Impact Investments for Sustainable Development: Current Potentials and Shortcomings; Synopsis for Transformational Investing | June 2019. Samuel Ledermann shared findings from a study of 705 agricultural impact investment deals. The study will be published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States in 2020.

Swift Foundation Investment Holdings Deep Dive | June 2019. Jen Astone presented a deep dive on 12 of investment holdings of Swift Foundation to understand how the food and ag investments align with Global Alliance principles.

Quadia | October 2019. Quadia is a Swiss investment company and impact investor specializing in social and environmental finance. Quadia invested the equivalent of EUR 200m in over 40 impactful companies, projects and funds. Investing in companies that are reinventing their sectors and driving the shift towards a regenerative economy. Investments focus on clean energy, sustainable food, and circular products and materials.
